A wonderful set of pictures of one of the greatest american artists.There is always something vaguely Eliotian in the mood, and objects, of these pictures, as maybe there is in Strand's Photography and in the writings of Stieglitz about what is really straight in the visual arts.
O'Keefe's pictures represent an escapable path for all who try to capture and define the unsolved riddle of Modernism
